The Empathy map helps the team to understand 'A Day in Life' of a BIM manager and dig deep into the user’s motivationand goal. Uncover the struggles and connect the dots.

UX Audit

Interviews with users

Their desktop app and steady growth of MAU was the validation of product-market fit. We helped with a cohesive design and style guide to growing with their modules. Here are some highlights:

- The primary action was not clearly defined and the UI was using the same color without a clear hierarchy.

- Global share feature was confusing to some users. Share without permission raised privacy concerns.

- Redesigned the library slide panel, so users could drag-and-drop templates onto the Plan quickly.

UX Improvement

Here are some highlights of the improvement in retention and communications.

- Added Notifications and Activities to help project managment.

- Added @mentions to notify team activities when a team member added or assigned a task.

- A help function included video tutorials to guide new user experience, encouraged a quality feedback loop.
